Liverpool (WSYR-TV) – A candlelight vigil is planned to remember Lori Bresnahan, the school librarian who was killed in March near Great Northern Mall.
The event will be held on June 19 from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Griffin Visitor Center at Onondaga Lake Park.
People planning to attend are asked to carpool due to limited available parking. Police will be assisting with traffic.
Organizers say Msgr. James T. O’Brien, pastor of Pope John XXIII Roman Catholic Church in Liverpool, and Father Dennis Hayes, Chaplin of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department, will preside over a short service.
The Liverpool Community Chorus, of which Bresnahan was a member, will perform, as will members of the parish choir of St. John’s Church.
