Didn't the USA just got over another beef contamination around 1 yr ago to that GEORGIA PLANT? And now another one goes bad.... Hmmmm..... WELL.... At least MILK & CHEESE products are not contaminated YET. [To those that do not know.... TAKE THIS ADVICE FROM A DIABETIC WHO CAN'T EAT ANY TYPE OF MEATS = lacking one gull bladder and it's meat digesting liquid = ... CHEESE AND MILK AND BEANS ARE A SUBSTITUTE FOR MEAT PRODUCTS]

Wait....haven't I heard on Price Chopper commercials that they grind their beef "fresh daily" in each store?? If they do this, how is it they are on the list?

What is safe anymore? Peanut butter, eggs, burgers, chicken, spinach, what are we suppose to eat? I just take my chances with crackers and cheese, frozen fruits, and thoroughly clean the vegetables, not fond of meat anyways. Good luck to those who got sick, I sincerely hope you get back on the road of recovery real fast.

Those were some crappy burgers! Heh...but seriously, glad you made it through that food poisoning episode fuelman. One hamburger could be made from the meat of 100 cows. I wish we didn't have so many giant meat processing plants (sounds gross) and we'd go back to the days of local butchers.

It is worse than D. coli but not as bad as F. coli.

This is going to give someone the squirts....

I thought the USDA inspector's were supposed to check the meat before it left the plant's? So it can be caught before it leaves the processing plants.

You can say all you want about buying beef at BJ's, but it's always on the list of stores when ever there is a beef recall...It may be less expensive to buy, but you're taking a big risk of getting sick...it's just not worth seeing my family risk their lives over a few dollars so I never buy beef from BJ's. I had food poisoning and they hauled me away in an ambulance with my heart beat down to 30 beats per minute according to one of the crew members, my wife said I was gray in color and my lips were black...I'll spend the extra dollar thanks.
