Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - New Yorkers looking to upgrade to energy efficient appliances can now get low-cost financing through the state.
Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the program, which is called On-Bill Recovery Financing. The program allows consumers to repay the loan on their monthly utility bill. The governor says the program creates a great way for people to make their homes energy efficient and more environmentally friendly.
The interest rate for the loan is 2.99 percent for five, 10, or 15-year loan terms.
