Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – NewsChannel 9 is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year and you’re invited to join us for a special event marking the occasion on Sept. 27 at the SRC Arena on the Onondaga Community College campus.
Among those in attendance will be local broadcasting pioneers including Mike Price and Phil Markert. The proceeds will go toward the Upstate Cancer Center.
The event begins at 5 p.m., followed by a meet-and-greet from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A special anniversary group photo will be taken at 7 p.m., followed by a live show that will be recorded for broadcast.
