South State Street to close for Christmas Bureau distribution

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- If you regularly travel South State Street between East Adams and Harrison Streets in Syracuse be aware that a closure will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday night for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Bureau distribution.

Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route during the specified closure.

Traffic attempting to travel south or looking to connect to Route 81 are asked to use Montgomery Street or South Townsend Street as an alternative.

Traffic attempting to travel north should utilize South Warren Street or Townsend Street to reach their destination.
