Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – New York will offer 11 job fairs throughout the state this month in an effort to put residents back to work.
375 employers are slated to participate in the event, which will feature more than 10,000 job openings.
On Thursday, Burnett Park Zoo in Syracuse will host a job fair from 12:30 to 4 p.m.
Other Upstate fairs include sessions at Erie Community College in Buffalo on June 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Marketplace Mall in Rochester on June 20 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Niagara Power Vista Center in Buffalo on June 21 at a time to be determined; and Broome Community College in Binghamton on June 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Downstate times and locations – all June 7 - include:
- White Plains Public Library, Westchester, 12:30-4 p.m.
- Bronx Chamber of Commerce, the Bronx, 12:30-4 p.m.
- St. Francis College Gymnasium, Brooklyn, 12:30-4 p.m.
- York College, Queens, 12:30-4 p.m.
- Petrides High School, Staten Island, 12:30-4 p.m.
- Harlem Amory, Manhattan, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
