How come Village of North Syracuse didn't support the gas station across the street???

I drove past the Cleveland, NY post office today and there wasn't one care in the lot or any signs of human life. Looks like that is another waste of money. I'm sure there are many more like this along with North Syracuse and Elmwood that could be closed.

OK..tired of the food stamp bashers. For one...there are a lot of elderly people on food stamps. My mother being one of them. She is 79 years old and worked her a$$ off in a factory until she retired. My dad passed away when he was 59 years old so she is alone. Her social security is not enough for her to pay her bills and buy food. She eats like a bird and still runs out of food stamps by the third week of the month. No one is getting fat on food stamps. Its the people who have money to burn who go to all the fast food restaurants and gorge themselves. Get over yourself...someday this will likely be you having to rely on food stamps to eat.I don't agree with the fat tax but to bash people on food stamps is ridiculous. There are plenty of hard working people out there that need them to survive in this economy. I bet you wouldn't go without food and would be the first in line for food stamps if you needed them for survival. I don't think my mother should feel like a second class citizen when she paid into the system for so many years to help others and needs help now that she is old. Your gonna be old someday...remember that. I hope for your sake that karma does not come and bite you in the a$$!!
