Actress Mimi Kennedy - known for her role on 'Dharma and Greg' and many other shows - is bringing her one woman show to the Everson Museum later this week.
Kennedy will share her personal history of a modern woman juggling career, conscience, and citizenship as she takes the audience on her journey of discovering a kindred soul in Matilda Joslyn Gage, who negotiated the same conflicting concerns 150 years ago.
The evening is a fundraiser for the Gage Center’s Girl Ambassadors for Human Rights program and 20 lucky local Girl Ambassadors will work with Mimi on the focus and graphic background for the performance.
Framed by the gender discrimination issues of another generation the performance draws together the arts and scholarship to link the past with the future. “Mimi Kennedy Finds Matilda Joslyn Gage”
