Down Syndrome Spokesman, Sujeet Desai

Today on Bridge Street, we were joined by Down Syndrome Spokesman, Sujeet Desai, and his mother and local dentist, Dr. Sindoor Desai. Sujeet is featured in a PSA campaign for the National Down Syndrome Society, featured in “Newsweek” last week. His story is quite remarkable. Sujeet has traveled to 11 countries and 32 states, met Oprah, and played clarinet before 14,000 people. He is an accomplished musician of six different instruments and also won a gold medal in downhill skiing at the World Special Olympics. A Graduate of Fayetteville Manlius High School and Berkshire Hills Music Academy in Massachusetts, Sujeet now lives in Rome, NY with his wife, Carrie.
