Neil Miller, the creator of the Farmshed iOS application, joined us on Bridge Street to talk about the app and why he developed it. Miller is a food and wine enthusiast, who also has a blog called stressingthevine.com, which focuses on local food and Finger Lakes wines.

Farmshed is a free, comprehensive directory of Central New York's local food producers. Browse through lists of Central New York's organic and sustainable family farms, regional farmers markets, natural food stores, CSAs and buying clubs, and locavore restaurants. View detailed descriptions of, and obtain geo-located directions to all of the local food producers and resources in your area. The app includes more than 800 CNY food “places”.

For more information, visit www.farmshedcny.com
Also, to download the app, visit Farmshed on iTunes.
