Blues is a genre of music which has affected all other genres. The music is there to capture your emotion through the lyrics and rhythm. Blues has traveled throughout the world, and one of the men who can be credited to the spread of this genre is Kim Simmonds.
Kim Simmonds played a role in launching the 1967 UK blues boom movement that actually brought this deep genre of music back to the USA, changing the style forever.
Being the lead guitarist of the infamous Savoy Brown, Simmonds and his band spread the good blues as they participated in the rock and role movement influencing modern rock as we know it today.
Simmonds and Savoy Brown have continued with their music since then and are just now releasing their new CD, "Songs from the Road". The band is now on tour and Kim Simmonds and Savoy Brown are bringing the blues to the historic Opera House in Earville, NY on July 20th!Kim Simmonds and Savoy Brown
