What belongs in your medicine cabinet and what doesn’t?  Sometimes we can allow our medicine cabinet to collect expired and/or unused prescriptions and over the counter medicines.  But, once you try to clean out your medicine cabinet how do you safely dispose of the medicines?  This Saturday, November 7th, Kinney Drugs in North Syracuse will be holding a Medicine Collection Day where you can bring your unused medicine products for them to safely dispose of.  Dan Hinds, Pharmacist at Kinney Drugs, was here to explain what you can and cannot bring to the Medicine Collection Day.  Products that will not be accepted are anything with a needle or household products such as batteries, hand soap, and shampoo and conditioner.  All vitamins, prescriptions, cough syrups, and cold medicines will be accepted.  Medicine Collection Day will take place at the Taft Road Kinney Drugs this Saturday from 9 am–6 pm.  For more information on what to bring and what not to bring click here.
