March is National Nutrition Month. It's an educational and informational campaign sponsored by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. The theme for 2013 is "Eat Right, Your Way, Every Day."
It's also National School Breakfast Week. Here are some tips for the most important meal of the day:
1.
Pack it with protein: Protein keeps you fuller for longer , satisfying to the body, reducing cravings and snacking, supports brain function helping us be alert in the morning
2.
High Fiber: Eat at least 25-35g of fiber per day for a cardio protective diet
.3.
Low Sugar: Sugar has little nutrition benefit, higher in calories, leads to sugar cravings throughout the day.
