The Syracuse Crunch go bald in the fight against cancer! Crunch Assistant Coach Brian Garlock, Deputy Parks Commissioner Johnny Walsh and Chow Downey, a member of the St. Baldrick's commitee, shaved their heads at the War Memorial this morning for St. Baldrick's to raise money and awareness for children's cancer. Head coach John Cooper donated $100 and team pitched in another $300 for the cause.
  • This is the 9th year Kitty Hoynes has held the fundraiser
  • They have earned $2.8 million in the first 8 years
  • Last year, their event was ranked the 4th largest in the world
