The Molly Project was founded last year in Central New York by best friends Kristin Atkinson, Kristin Johnston and Tara Polcaro. The organization provides free, on-location photography sessions for women whose lives are being redefined by cancer or terminal illness.
- Photography can boost the spirits of those suffering through cancer or other terminal illness and provide comfort for families when they lose a loved one.
- The photography sessions can provide women with a few hours focused on family, not the disease.
- Photos from The Molly Project will be on display at the Redhouse Art Center until February 8.
