Joe Glisson, author and cartoonist, along with Charma Harris, committee chair for the
Syracuse University chapter of Women in Sports & Events (WISE) discuss Glisson’s latest book, “There’s No Place Like Dome.” Glisson has published two other books “Dome Sweet Dome” and “Seems Like Old Times,” a chronological series that follows sports events pertaining to
Central New York, more specifically SU sports teams. Glisson is generously giving the proceeds of his most recent book to women in the
Sports Management School at SU. WISE, a student-run organization, will distribute the proceeds in the form of a scholarship allowing women the opportunity to excel and succeed in the sports industry.
