Kurt Steinacher, a Wegmans chef, showed us on Bridge Street how to prepare a green bean salad.
Green Bean and Cherry Tomato Salad
SERVES 4 ACTIVE TIME: 15 min MARINATE TIME: 2 hour 0 min TOTAL TIME: 2 hour 15 min
1 pkg (12 oz) Food You Feel Good About Cleaned & Cut Trimmed Green Beans, cut in half on bias
4-6 cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup Wegmans Italian Dressing (Grocery Dept)
1. Blanch beans 1-2 min in large pot of boiling, salted water. Drain; transfer beans to a bowl of ice water. Drain.
2. Combine beans, tomatoes and dressing in bowl. Marinate 2 hours, uncovered, at room temperature. Serve.
