Valentine's Day deserves it's own delicious drinks! Jeffrey Rodgers from Topshelf Bartenders stopped by the studio to show how to make some Valentine's Day-inspired cocktails. Rodgers recently opened a new bartending school, with both day and night classes available.
"Infectious"
- Muddled strawberries
- 1/2 ounce vanilla schnapps
- 1 ounce black raspberry liqueur
- 3/4 ounce Frangelico
- 1 ounce strawberry rum
- 1 1/2 ounce half & half
- Shake and serve in a martini glass, garnish with a strawberry
"Love Potion #9"
- 1/2 ounce cherry vodka
- 1/2 ounce grape vodka
- 1/2 ounce triple sec
- 1/4 ounce chambord
- 1/2 ounce grenadine
- 1 ounce sour mix
- 1 ounce cranberry
- Top with club soda
- Shake and serve in a martini glass or a Collins glass with ice, garnish with a candy heart necklace
