An Oswego native, Chief Meteorologist Dave Longley grew up in the path of lake effect snow from Lake Ontario, and earned his degree in Meteorology from SUNY Oswego. His Storm Team forecasts have earned the American Meteorological Society’s Seal of Approval. For 14 years, Dave helped you wake up with The Morning News.  When not watching the radar, Dave visits schools throughout central New York and volunteers time with various local organizations. When not working, you can find him on one of the many area golf courses.
