Jennifer Sanders is thrilled to be in Central New York!
She comes to NewsChannel 9 from Texas, where she was a reporter at KXII-TV in Sherman -- about an hour north of Dallas. Prior to that, she was a writer/producer at KDAF-TV in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Jennifer's most memorable experiences include extensive coverage of the deadly tornadoes in Oklahoma in 2011, interviewing Texas Governor Rick Perry and field producing a special program on the Dallas Cowboys.
As the daughter of retired military parents (Army), she has lived throughout Europe and the United States. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications/Spanish from Texas Lutheran University and a Masters Degree in Journalism from the University of North Texas.
