Jim grew up in East Syracuse and is a graduate of the nationally-recognized meteorology program at Penn State University. He has forecasted the changeable weather in the Northeast for more than 20 years . His Storm Team forecasts are approved by the American Meteorological Society. Jim will give you the latest Storm Team forecast weekdays on NewsChannel 9 at Noon. Like the rest of the Storm Team, Jim visits dozen of central New York schools every year. He is also part of the local Labor Day weekend Muscular Dystrophy Telethon each year and in the past, he served on the board of the central New York Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
