Keith Kobland is proud to join the NewsChannel 9 team. Keith spent the last 20 years at WTVH-TV, where he reported on many Syracuse's biggest stories, from the political downfall of former Mayor Lee Alexander, to the cutbacks at Carrier and New Process Gear.
Keith says his greatest thrill in the news business was the opportunity to ride along with the Navy's Blue Angels (and is happy to say he didn't get sick in the cockpit, but did pass out twice).
Keith is a recipient of the Syracuse Press Club Selwyn Kershaw Award for professional standards.
Keith is a military brat, having lived on Hancock Air Base where his dad served in the U.S. Air Force. He and his wife Marybeth have a 13 year old son Nathan and 9 year old daughter Caitlin, and are raising their family in Liverpool.
