Kelly Quinn is thrilled to cover the big stories as a general assignment reporter and back-up anchor for NewsChannel 9.
Prior to coming to Central New York, Kelly anchored and reported for WTVW-TV in Evansville, Indiana; WENY-TV in Elmira; and acted as news director to a radio station group in the Southern Tier. In Indiana, Kelly anchored eight hours straight when a tornado touched down, killing 25 people. While in Elmira, she was part of a news team that earned a New York State Associated Press Broadcasters Association Award for a special on the First Anniversary of the September 11th attacks.
Kelly holds her bachelor's degree from Marist College in Poughkeepsie. She and her husband are from the Hudson Valley and are happy to be back in New York. They live in Syracuse with their beagle.
