Tom Hauf has been working the weather here in Central New York since 1989. He holds the American Meteorological Society's highest broadcasting designation as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist. He provides daily weather forecasts to a number of television and energy concerns in such far flung places as South Africa, India, Lebanon, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates.
Tom served both at home and abroad as an Air Force Weather Officer prior to joining the Central New York media ranks. Tom joins the NewsChannel 9 Storm Team on a part time basis and also teaches at Syracuse University.
