This important daylong event is a partnership between NewsChannel 9 WSYR and leaders in workforce development in the Central New York area: CNY Works, Onondaga Community College, The C&S Companies, Project-ION and the Oncenter.

Sure, Career Connections will be a place for job seekers to find out about current employment opportunities, but our first event in February was much more than a “job fair.” We want Career Connections to help bring the workforce and business together in a new and dynamic way.

November 19th's Career Connections will include:

• Informational sessions scheduled throughout the day will target job seekers and employers, as well as addressing strategic business, workforce and economic development issues (including innovation, green development, the changing workforce, and more). Download the workshop schedule here.


• There will be a special area for businesses who are interested in showcasing innovation and new technologies. And there will be businesses looking to recruit new employees.. both at the event and afterward on-line through a special section of 9wsyr.com.
