The book is about how to talk to your child about issues they will face during this period in their life including, peer pressure, bullying, friendship, body image, as well as many others. Also, the book has a self-care section for parents. This section discusses the many stresses that adults face in their lives.
The book is available at all Barnes & Noble locations.
Kate Thomsen will be at the Barnes and Noble in Dewitt on Thursday, May 8th at 7pm. She will discuss her book, as well as sign copies for those who attend.
