It is typical to pair dessert with coffee, and even with wine, but what about beer?  Riley’s and Middle Ages Brewing Company have paired up to continue the learning experience of this week’s Syracuse Beer Week.  Syracuse Beer Week helps to promote education of local business through a series of events in restaurants all around the Syracuse area.  Today, Marc Rubenstein, Brewmaster and Founder/Owner of Middle Ages Brewing Company in downtown Syracuse, was here to show us how to pair different beers with famous homemade desserts of Riley’s, located on Park Street.  Marc explained that beer and desserts can go very well together if paired right and provides a fun alternative to the typical drinks associated with sweet treats.  Riley’s will be hosting a Syracuse Beer Week event tonight pairing their food and desserts with different Middle Ages beer.  The event begins at 6 p.m. and tickets are $35.  Reservations must be made ahead of time and can be made by calling Riley’s at 315-471-7111.  Syracuse Beer Week runs through November 7th, for a full list of beer week events click here
