Bottles and pacifiers risky?
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- If you have a baby, here’s another good reason to wean them from the bottle when they start to walk. Did you know bottles, pacifiers and sippy cups cause thousands of injuries per year.
The injuries to the mouth and teeth often occur when toddlers topple over while holding bottles in their mouths.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends children stop using pacifiers by about six months and transition from bottles to cups by about one year, yet most parents ignore these guidelines.
