Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – You can follow Gillette Road Middle School student Brady Mills’ quest to eat healthier and exercise more in an effort to lose weight. Brady will be providing us with blog entries during the process.
Brady has been busy with summer sports camps. Here’s what his mother reports that he’s been up to this summer:
Hi Everyone, Another update on Brady. He is doing GREAT! He had his sports physical yesterday and he has lost a total 15 pounds!
He had an appointment with Dr. Scinta on July 29 and had lost another two pounds since.
He has been training with Kulaa and loves going more and more. I am not sure whose having more fun, Kulaa or Brady. Kulaa had Jenna involved at the last session and told her she better come prepared next time.
Brady has also started exercising an additional two to three times a week with Austin at C-NS with Pete Moore.
Pete is the trainer that had trained some of our local athletes, such as Breanna Stewart and Patrick Corbin.
Brady’s eating habits have significantly changed as well as his appetite.
The medication is working very well for him. I hope that the taping went well on Monday.
We have a very eager fan club that is waiting patiently for the segment.
Our gratitude for the amazing support and encouragement has been overwhelming. But the pride that we have for Brady outweighs everything.
He has his first 20-pound loss goal in total focus, the reward is a trip to Pole Position at Destiny USA. This will be his first time there.
