You can follow Gillette Road Middle School student Brady Mills’ quest to eat healthier and exercise more in an effort to lose weight. Brady will be providing us with blog entries during the process.
Here’s Brady’s entry for June 26:
Hi everybody - I am so grateful for what is happening and the people that are helping me.
It was really fun and exciting to watch the beginning of my story on NewsChannel 9.
I feel very lucky.
I hope I can have other kids follow me in my footsteps.
I will meet with my trainer Kulaa every Monday and Thursday - working out at the gym is really cool. I hope some of the workouts are in the pool they have.
We will be working on lots of ways for me to get better and faster at my sports.
It was very surprising to me to see how many people were happy for me and wished me good luck.
I am going to try my best everyday to get healthy.
I found out tonight that I am going to meet Lisa.
She helps to plan meals and teaches people about the right foods to eat.
My goal is to blog once to twice a week.
