Did you know meditation may improve test scores?
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Meditation has long been known to manage stress, depression and even chronic pain, but did you know that it may even improve test scores?
Researchers at the University of Southern California have studied the relationship between mindfulness and mind-wandering. They found that after a group of undergraduates went through a two week intensive mindfulness training program, their mind-wandering decreased and their working memory capacity improved.
The group also performed better on a reading comprehension test.
