History Chick - You have to know about anything you're taking. We've been using homeopathy and herbal medicine to CURE aliments, not just deal with the symptoms like so many pharmaceuticals. Over 100,000 people per year in the US weed themselves out of the gene pool by following their prescriptions. If taking too much of these pain killers causes an "overdose with liver damage", then taking less will just take longer. Aren't you interested in what is causing the pain in case it can be cured? If you are against herbal medicine, don't use it.

Lowering the maximum daily dose isn't going to stop people from over dosing. I agree with timeto, pharmacutical companies need to stop mixing drugs. If you have a cold and fever, take a dose of straight cough medicine and a separate dose of tylenol and in the long run the costs of having to buy two separate medicines will be cheaper. When it comes to common sense, a little goes along way. To bad so few people today have any.

They need to stop putting it in cold medicines, as most people take Tylenol with it because they don't read the package.

HistoryChick with every post, I love you more! Weeded out of the gene pool!!! So true!

Doesn't seem right to me, I suppose I will have to take more pills all at once.

OMG enough is enough already. They are worried about Tylenol when we have all these stupid herbal medicines that no one every looks at. How about we do some testing on those? Look, if you're too stupid to read the label thats not my fault. You should be weeded out of the gene pool.

What is wrong with a warning? If it saves even one life, wheather "stupid" or not...it's o.k. with me!!!

I do not see them regulating prescription drugs. They have way worse reprocussions. "Do not take if you have liver trouble, kidney trouble, blood in urine, lose sleep, drive, breathe...etc" The government will soon tax our breathing and say it contributes CO2 to the atmosphere. They are too big and getting bigger. Kick everyone of them out of office and start over. What a bunch of egotistical idiots.
