East Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - There are actually quite a few chain and locally-owned restaurants in Central New York that are gluten-free, or can offer gluten-free options.
Dinosaur BBQ, for example, doesn't say gluten-free on the menu, but can make it happen if a customer makes the request. Others in the area include:
- Arad Evans Inn, in Fayetteville
- Yum-Yum's Gluten Free Bakery at the Paradise Market
- Natur-Tyme on Bridge Street
- Earth's Own Organic Market and Café, in the Seneca Mall.
Outback Steakhouse, Carraba's Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Uno Chicago Grill, Olive Garden, Red Robin and Chili's are all chain restaurants that offer gluten-free options.
Wegmans grocery stores also have gluten-free items available.
