Onondaga County (WSYR-TV) -- The Onondaga County Health Department says it’s still seeing a surge in flu activity amongst local families.

In fact, doctors saw 506 cases last week – up from 365 the week before.

Since October, there have been nearly 1,300 cases.

At this time last year, there had only been one case. Health experts are reminding you to wash your hands often and if you’re sick – stay home and away from other people.
