Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Green tea is known for having health benefits, but did you know it may reduce the risk of certain cancers in women.
Older women who regularly drink green tea may have a slightly lower risk of colon, stomach and throat cancers than women who don’t.
That’s according to a study following thousands of Chinese women. Those who drank green tea at least three times a week were 14 percent less likely to develop a cancer of the digestive system.
