One of the reasons why many people are injured when they use their ADULT WALKER isn't improper usage of them but are instead these factors.... MOST DO NOT HAVE WHEELS OR THE BACK LEGS DO NOT HAVE WHEELS THOSE THAT DO NOT HAVE WHEELS = You slide and or have to lift them up over objects like RUG EDGES, GOING THROUGH A DOORWAY [where you have a slight level change like a bathroom to the bedroom floor], GOING THROUGH THE DOORWAY INTO & OUT OF A BUILDING [walking through the doorway to and from your residence] THOSE WITH ONLY ONE SET OF WHEELS = The weels are small enough to get cought in most all sidewalk cracks [thus you tip over], the part of the walkers that do have wheels also have a set of legs without wheels and often get cought on floor rug edges and can easily trip someone over to the floor, walking on any uneven ground [stones, gravel, torn up sidewalks, torn up driveways going to and from a parked vehicle] HMMMM..... MAYBE THAT IS WHY WE SEE MANY PEOPLE USING THEIR ADULT WALKERS ON THE CITY ROADS SINCE THOSE SURFACES SEEM TO BE THE SMOOTHEST AND MOST CLEARED IN ANY STORMS [in the winter the roads get cleared way faster than any sidewalks, any wind damaging storms and the road get cleared & fixed way faster than every sidewalk around]
