Oneida County (WSYR-TV) – On Wednesday, NewsChannel 9 told you the flu is in full force around Central New York and the number of cases keeps on rising.
In Oneida County, there are now 562 confirmed cases, that’s quadruple what it was less than two weeks ago.
Last year, there were 329 cases for the entire flu season.
In Onondaga County, there have been 196 confirmed cases. At this time last year there were none.
Health experts say the best way to protect yourself is by getting the flu shot.
