Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- If you’ve given up on peanut butter because of the high fat and calorie count, did you know there’s an alternative?

It’s called PB2 – a powder, made of roasted peanuts, sugar and salt. All you do is take two tablespoons and add one tablespoon of water. It tastes like peanut butter with 85 percent less fat than traditional peanut butter.

Here are more exact numbers: Two tablespoons of regular peanut butter has 190 calories and 16 grams of fat; PB2 has 45 calories and one gram of fat. And PB2 comes in a chocolate flavor.

There are a couple of brands of the powdered peanut butter on the market. You can find it in health food stores and the healthy food section of some local grocery stores.
