Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Smoking pot may relieve the symptoms of multiple sclerosis.

A study in the Canadian Medical Journal finds the symptoms of pain, stiffness and involuntary muscle spasms were significantly reduced in the MS patients who smoked marijuana.

The pain was reduced by about 30 percent, but that relief came at a price. They had other symptoms, including fatigue and concentration problems.
