Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The 10 super foods, according to WebMD, begin with fruits and vegetables.

Beans are good for your heart and are loaded with fiber. They’re also a great source for low-fat protein and carbohydrates.

Berries may be small, but they pack a big punch of antioxidants and are low in calories. Plus, their sweet flavor can help satisfy junk food cravings.

Broccoli is filled with Vitamins A, C and K and is also loaded with fiber. And broccoli cooked can be done a bunch of different ways. So it's easy to fit into your diet.

Kiwis are also loaded with Vitamin C. In Fact, one large kiwi has enough Vitamin C to satisfy the daily requirement.

And sweet potatoes are packed with Vitamin A and C, along with calcium and potassium.

As for your super meats and grains, the following are your best bet:

Eggs are versatile and a great source of protein.

Nuts may be filled with fats, but it's heart-healthy fat. They can be a snack by themselves or make a great topping.

Quinoa is a whole grain and is available in many supermarkets. It's high in iron, fiber and protein. You can also try oats, whole wheat or wild rice.

Salmon is also a super food because of Omega-3 fatty acids, which help protect your heart.

And finally, fat-free or low-fat yogurt is high in calcium and is filled with protein and potassium.

Eat good -- feel even better.
