Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A little stress can help keep us motivated, but too much can lead to serious health problems. So how can you cut down on stress?

Doctors recommend you try to meditate at least 20 to 30 minutes a day. They also recommend deep breathing, which helps regulate your pulmonary and circulatory systems and opens your blood vessels.

Another way to cut down on stress, get together with friends and talk out your problems.

Finally, try being more empathetic. Instead of getting angry with people, try to put yourself in their shoes.
