Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- If someone in your family is congested and coughing, they have “What’s Going Around.”

Dr. Terasaka says there’s a virus going around with symptoms of fever, cough and congestion. It lasts for up to two weeks. He’s also seeing sinus infections, bronchitis and ear infections.

In Fayetteville, Living Proof Longevity Center checks in with sinusitis, sore throats and an upper respiratory infection with cough, congestion and fever.

In Syracuse, Brighton Hill Pediatrics says lots of babies are quite sick right now with RSV, which causes wheezing. Other children have strep throat, sinus infections and pink eye.

Doctors in Liverpool are also seeing a lot of RSV. Dr. Dracker is seeing coughs, fever and the stomach bug.

In Pulaski, Dr. Carguello checks in with upper respiratory infections and the stomach bug.

In Auburn, bronchitis is going around, along with sinusitis, the stomach bug and sore throats – both strep and viral.

"What’s Going Around" is our way of letting you know what illnesses are out there. Your own doctor can tell you about the best treatments.
