Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Hospitals in the area may be overwhelmed with the flu, but things are finally slowing down in the offices of Central New York physicians.

In Cicero, Dr. Terasaka says the flu has decreased significantly. He’s also seeing an upper respiratory infection with a prolonged cough and the stomach bug.

The stomach bug is also going around to the south of Syracuse. Brighton Hill Pediatrics says it hasn’t seen much flu this week, but it is seeing more patients with strep throat and pink eye.

Pink eye is also What’s Going Around in Camillus. Dr. Rovall hasn’t seen any children with the flu this week.

In Pulaski, Dr. Carguello says the flu is still going around, along with an upper respiratory infection in Auburn, and the flu. Bronchitis is also going around, along with an upper respiratory infection.

In Auburn, they’re still seeing some flu and bronchitis is still going around, as well as sore throats, both strep and viral.
