We check What’s Going Around starting in Syracuse. Brighton Hill Pediatrics has seen its first few cases of flu this week. Dr. Imboden says it has arrived a little earlier than usual. They’re also seeing croup in babies.
In Liverpool, Dr. Dracker says they’re also seeing the first flu cases, Type B. The stomach bug is going around, along with bronchitis. Other kids have a fever.
In Camillus, Dr. Rovall is also seeing croup and the stomach bug, along with pneumonia and ear infections.
At the Urgent Care in Fulton, lots of people are arriving with flu-like symptoms, but so far the tests have been negative. They’re also reporting sinus infections and bronchitis.
In Pulaski, Dr. Carguello is seeing an upper respiratory infection with a fever, as well as the stomach bug. He’s also seeing people with allergy symptoms.
Finally, in Auburn, an upper respiratory infection is going around, along with croup, colds, and a sinus infection.
