Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A few cases of flu are being reported by our doctors this week, but it doesn’t appear to be gaining momentum.

Let’s check “What’s Going Around” starting in Liverpool. Dr. Dracker is still seeing the flu this week. Other children have ear infections and croup is also going around.

Croup is also at the top of the list in Camillus. Dr. Rovall says it’s mostly hitting toddlers. They start with a barky cough, it then turns into a cold and often the kids develop an ear infection. There’s also a stomach bug going around with vomiting.

In Auburn, the stomach bug is going around, along with bronchitis and colds.

In Pulaski, Dr. Carguello is seeing croup, allergies and an upper respiratory infection.

“What’s Going Around” is our way of letting you know what illness are out there. Your own doctor can tell you about the best treatments.
