Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – There’s good news going around for families trying to enjoy their spring break, as local doctors say their offices are pretty quiet.

Pediatrics in Syracuse say it’s been a slow week. They’ve seen some pink eye, sinus infections, and ear infections.

In Camillus, Dr. Rovall is seeing a stomach bug that lasts for four or five days, along with some strep throat.

In Liverpool, Dr. Dracker is seeing coxsackie virus, which is also known as hand, foot, and mouth disease.  There’s also a persistent cough going around along with sore throats.

In Fayetteville, there’s an upper respiratory infection going around with a cough, congestion, and post-nasal drip. They’ve also had a few patients with the stomach bug.

In Pulaski, Dr. Carguello is seeing strep throat and upper respiratory infection, along with asthma flare-ups.

What’s Going Around is our way of letting you know what illnesses are out there. Your own doctor can tell you about the best treatments.
