Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- As we checked in with local doctors to find out ‘What’s Going Around’ we found the flu is a late season appearance in a couple of communities in Central New York.

In Liverpool, Dr. Dracker is seeing both Type A and B flu this week. There’s also a virus going around with a cough and fever, as well as pink eye.

The flu is also going around in Pulaski. Dr. Carguello is also seeing sore throats.

In Syracuse, sore throats and strep are going around. Brighton Hill Pediatrics is also seeing a virus with a cough and fever, as well as allergies.

Allergies are at the top of the list in Fayetteville. Living Proof Longevity Center is also seeing strep throat.

In Cicero, Dr. Terasaka is seeing an upper respiratory infection with a cough and a stomach bug that hangs on for nearly a week.

In Fulton, Urgent Care checks in with sore throats with related ear infections.

And in Auburn, the stomach bug, sinus infections, pneumonia and sore throats are going around.

What’s Going Around is our way of letting you know what illnesses are out there. Your own doctor can tell you about the best treatments.
