Syracuse (WSRY-TV) -- A little late season flu is still going around, but doctors also report they’re seeing more and more patients with strep throat.

Starting in Pulaski, Dr. Carguello checks in with the flu, allergies and strep throat.

The flu is also going around in Auburn, along with strep and viral sore throats, allergy symptoms and there have been some cases of pneumonia.

In Cicero, Dr. Terasaka says allergies are causing all kinds of problems, from pink eye to sinus and ear infections. He’s also seeing an upper respiratory infection with a cough and the stomach bug that hangs on for nearly a week.

In Camillus, Dr. Rovall is seeing lots of strep throat and the stomach bug is going around, while allergy symptoms have tapered off a bit with the cooler weather.

In Liverpool, Dr. Dracker is also seeing cases of strep throat, the coxsackie virus and allergy symptoms.

And at Urgent Care in Fulton, a nasty respiratory infection with a cough, sore throat and chest pressure is going around, as well as the stomach bug.

What’s Going Around is our way of letting you know what illnesses are out there. Your own doctor can tell you about the best treatment.
