Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Medical professionals in Central New York say they aren’t seeing a great deal of illness, but they are still see many who suffer from allergies and many are visiting doctors for relief after being bitten by ticks.
Fulton: At the Urgent Care, they’re seeing allergy symptoms and also sinusitis.
Camillus: Dr. Rovall says tick bites are striking a lot of his patients this week; and they’re also seeing patients for sore throats – both strep and viral – and fewer children with allergy complaints. The cooler, wetter weather seems to have helped alleviate some symptoms.
Cicero: Dr. Terasaka says he’s seeing a lot of allergies – with red eyes, congestion, and coughs. They’re also seeing Fifth Disease and the stomach bug.
Pulaski: Dr. Carguello says he’s seeing a lot of patients with allergies.
Auburn: Health care professionals in Auburn are seeing people complaining of allergies, upper respiratory issues, and sore throats.
