Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - There’s a nasty stomach bug going around in Central New York.

Let’s check in with doctors starting in Camillus where Dr. Rovall says the kids are not only vomiting, they have diarrhea and a fever. It lasts for two to three days. Other kids have a virus that causes a high fever with cold sores in the mouth.

In Fayetteville, Living Proof Longevity Center is also seeing the stomach bug. Allergies are kicking up again and people are sneezing, coughing, and congested. And other patients come in with ear pain from Swimmer’s Ear.

In Syracuse, Brighton Hill Pediatrics checks in with Coxsackie virus.

And, in Auburn, allergies and poison ivy are the big things right now, along with sore throats and sinus infections.

What’s Going Around is our way of letting you know what illnesses are out there. Your own doctor can tell you about the best treatment.
